Case Studies
Here are some of the smiles of our happy patients, using the latest orthodontic techniques. We show before and after treatments:
Grace:
We treated this patient with Upper and Lower 3M Victory Brackets. As you can see, the upper right canine was buccally prominent.
We achieved great results without extractions. Grace is delighted with her teeth and is wearing her Essix Retainer every night to keep them straight!
Keelin:
This patient presented with a deep overbite and increased overjet.
We treated Keelin with a MARA or a fixed Class II Molar Corrector to correct her bite and we placed upper and lower brackets to get excellent teeth alignment.
Vincent:
This patient had a deep overbite, moderate upper and lower crowding and Class II molars. His bite was so deep that it was in contact with his palatal tissues. His overjet was also increased.
We achieved good molar relationship with a MARA treatment which is a Fixed Class II molar corrector. He also has great alignment and bite using fixed upper and lower brackets.
Philip:
This 40 year old patient had severe crowding, upper midline was not centred, space upper left potentially requiring an implant.
The crowding was corrected, the upper midline centered with face, no implant was required as the space was closed with braces.
Ava:
This patient of ours presented with deep overbite and mild lower crowding.
We treated her for 26 months. Great results achieved.
Philip:
This 40 year old patient had severe crowding, upper midline was not centred, space upper left potentially requiring an implant.
The crowding was corrected, the upper midline centered with face, no implant was required as the space was closed with braces.
Patient:
This teenager had crowding, slight crossbite, deep overbite and narrow smile.
He was treated with braces, non extraction.
Eoin:
This teenager had Class II, 9mm over-jet, crowding and crossbite.
He was treated with fixed Class II corrector, a Herbst appliance and non extraction. The crossbite was corrected, Class I canine/molar relationship and overjet to 2mm.
Patient:
This patient had severe crowding with shallow overbite and reduced overjet.
The treatment included extraction.
Joseph:
This 14 year old teenager had deep overbite and traumatic occlusion.
No extractions were involved in this treatment.
Patient:
This is a teenage patient who presented with Class II malocclusion, deep bite and some upper and lower crowding of the teeth.
We treated him with a Herbst appliance with braces to correct & achieve a good molar relationship.
Anna:
This teenager had narrow smile, deep overbite and crowding.
The treatment involved no extraction and now she has a wider smile and a good overbite.
Eabha:
Her Overjet was 8-10mm and her overbite was severe that it was causing trauma to her upper palate.
She also presented with moderated upper and lower arch crowding. We treated her with a Class II Molar Corrector.
Maura:
This teenager had severely crowded upper teeth, complete deep overbite and Class II relationship.
She was treated with a fixed growth modifier/Class II corrector, a Herbst appliance, non extraction.
Patient:
This teenager had a narrow smile and uneven upper gums heights.
She was treated with metal braces for 23 months, non extraction.
Adult:
Interdisciplinary case.
Finished case.
Patient:
This is a teenager who was presented to us with deep overbite, mild upper and lower overcrowding.
We used a Herbst appliance to correct the lower jaw position, non extraction case.
Patient:
This adult patient had crowding, deep overbite and narrow smile.
He was treated with fixed braces, non-extraction and he now has a wider smile and better functional bite.
Kevin:
his adult patient had palatally impacted permanent canines with retained primary canines, ectopic lower right second premolars, narrow arches (smile) and spacing.
This was a non extraction treatment which also involved surgical exposure and alignment of palatal canines and alignment of lower right second premolars.
Eoghan:
This 15 years old teenager had crossbite, severe crowding, narrow upper arch and deep overbite.
He was treated with expander, non extraction resulting in great oral hygiene.
Kristina:
This patient had crossbite, narrow smile, uneven teeth and median diastema.
The treatment consisted in expansion, widening smile, frenectomy to close the gap, non extraction.
Tanu:
This teenager had crossbite, Class III canine on the right, crowding and narrow smile.
The treatment was with fixed braces.
Aisling:
This is an adult patient. She had anterior open bite, narrow arches and severe crowding.
The treatment consisted in expansion, widening smile, frenectomy to close the gap, non extractionThe treatment involved the extraction of premolars and resulting in a good overjet and overbite.
Emily:
This patient was presented to us with slow eruption of permanent canines. She also had median diastema with a strong frenal attachment.
We treated her to orthodontically assist eruption of her canines and to correct alignment, establishing good OJ/OB.
Esmee:
This patient had a Class II molar Relationship which means her lower jaw was set back, deep bite and proclined upper teeth.
We treated her with a Class II corrector to advance her lower jaw, level her bite to get a nice result. This was a non extraction treatment.
Caroline:
This patient had deep bite, cross bite on the right and moderate upper and lower crowding.
We treated her using an expander to expand her upper arch and fixed appliances braces on upper and lower.
